Standard Patient Flow Model

1. Schedule Appointments

Appointments are made over the phone, via the internet, by hospital staff or through Wavetec’s mobile ticketing application.

2. Patient Arrival Self Check-in

Patients register using self-service kiosks equipped with barcode and card readers.

3. Way Finding

Digital signage coupled with Wavetec’s queue management system assists patients with the right directions according to the process flow of their treatment.

4. Waiting Area

Patients wait while being constantly updated about their position in the queue, thus making them less stressed. Digital signage and pre-recorded vocal messages keep patients up to speed about their turn/appointment.

5. Treatment

Patients are then called by the respective clinic or the nurse once their turn arrives. When the next ticket is called, the previous patient is leaves and the called patient is arrived automatically.

6. Feedback

Patient feedback is recorded after being treated.
